What are possible causes of my air conditioning continuing to blow warm after a recharge?

Nick P asked:

I just purchased a recharge kit from the store and recharged the air conditioning on my 98′ S10. I filled it completely with 1lb. and 12oz. of 134a as requested by the user manual. The compressor is spinning and it took the refrigerant just as it should have, but I am still getting absolutely no cold air blowing. What are some possible causes? I’m stumped.
