What size air conditioner do I expect?
have an apartment with a bedroom – there is no corridor between the lounge and bedroom, just a wall. There are French doors are never closed, so it feels like a large room. Apartment is only about 700 square feet. I want a single air conditioner. (Change the following: Only Windows along one wall in my room, except not really a choice.) I can not really afford a large multi-conditioner room. How far do you think I can go and still BTU air fresh walk in life room? Also, a fan would help disperse cool air throughout the apartment? Thank you. PLEASE do not just send it to me a BTU calculator – I want real opinions of one man. I say BS answers.
You should be able to get away with a btu 5400. It is a smaller unit, but I do not know the dimensions of your windows. This unit will fit smaller windows. Use a small fan to circulate the air around the wall in the other room.
