We live in place where it is snowing and freezing in the winter and I don’t want my plumbing to freeze.
Does 50F sufficient?

I think it should be 58F at least.

Air conditioning in the winter? Thermostat first of all and around 58- 60 degrees is ideal.

Also, open up the cabinets under the kitchen sink so that that 50 degree air can get in there to the pipes, or the wall behind the sink (presuming it’s an exterior wall) can get cold enough to freeze. Same with doors to utility rooms, etc.
