What steps should I take if my home air condition won’t turn on adn all breakers are in the on position?
Katie asked:
The thermostat is set correctly and read the right air temperature but the air conditioner is not coming on at all. The breaker inside my townhouse is in the on position as is the breaker outside by the unit? I’m trying to figure out if there is something I can do before paying someone to come out to look at it.

Turn the breakers involved Off, and the On again to be sure they are set. There may be a Reset button somewhere on the unit; if you can find one, push it. If none of this pans out, time to call for help.

There is a separate fuse box out by the fan. Take thefuses out. They look like shot gun shells. Take them t the hardware store to match new ones. $6 each about. That is the problem for sure.
