It could be that the AC you&#039;re using is undersized at 90 degrees but OK at 78.  It also depends on how much exposure to the sun you have in that particular room.  The ice build-up is probably due to low freon, or a clogged filter screen.  Remove the screens (front of the unit) and clean them at least weekly.  You&#039;ll be amazed at the improvement in performance AND the lower electric bill.</description>
