My air conditioner at home has Schrader keeps leaking. Is there an alternative to this valve?
generally a cap that fits over the port tonnage Stop leak if tight … some caps are round and have O-rings, replace old or if the seal ring is missing Type …. giving further damaged / must be tightened or when a turn beyond hand tight with binoculars ….. Another type caps are shaped to fit a key, overall 9 / 16 ",,, this type has no O-ring, based on compression, must be strengthened key …… they also adapter assembly for this purpose .. they screw into the measuring port permanently and have a gauge port built them for a place for tech to take a reading of pressure, but a caps is going too …… Dan
