WHICH CENTRAL * AIR CONDITIONER * BRAND SHOULD I CHOOSE?
I am looking to replace my house central AC unit with the following specifications: 3 ton & 16 SEER efficiency.
My contractor is offering either a TRANE or BRYANT brand units for about the same price. They both have separate compressor and air handler, and very similar specifications.
What are pro’s and con’s of each brand?
Tough choice! I noticed in some reviews, users score Bryant much lower than experts/dealers, e.g. bottom of this page

Do you know if Bryant offers better dealer incentives than Trane, and is that a potential negative?
6 of one and 1/2 dozen of the other they both do the same thing and if you look real close you ll see most of the components are the same only the names have been changed,so either one will do ,trane has a bigger name i don’t see where its any better than the bryant
