95 Honda Civic Air Conditioning just died?
The AC in my 95 Honda Civic just died. As he was dying, I heard a high tone on the slope side passenger dash off and when the sector was on. The fan itself had no dial tone, but when I hit the button AC sometimes there would be this tone, usually when I accelerated or slowed. I would also like to hear a sound beating. After a day of it, he no cold air coming out, but no sounds when the button is on AC. The fan blows, just not cold air. I will probably buy a refill kit, but I wanted to check if any of these symptoms seemed unusual and indicated a more serious problem.
I know some people who had problems with AC Honda after about 10 years. I think it's a Honda thing. Fixing it probably costs more than $ 1,000.
