Why is my car air conditioner not cold?
I was driving from Houston to Austin today, and noticed that the A/C started off normal (cold), and by the time I arrived into Austin, it was luke warm air (not so cold). What causes this?
For your case, the most likely cause would be the leakage of R12 (freon is not used anymore) at somewhere in your system. You may go to the garage and have it refilled and/or have the whole system rechecked (dryer, compressor, radiator, coolant etc.). If not, you will then experience similar problem again soon.
